Colossians 3:12

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

Sheryl

We met Sheryl this past Sunday. She hardly spoke, and walking was difficult even with a cane. Her face told a story of desperation. It was obvious Jenny needed everything we could offer.

We were able to give her food, water, personal care items, clothing, and a blanket. One of our team members assisted by carrying her items back to where Sheryl lives, under a bridge!

December 28th/29th 2024

Our Saturday volunteers lovingly assembled and gathered items to carry and share on Sunday. Jenny was one of over a hundred folks we met and shared 100 bags, 30 ladies’ backpacks, 100 blankets, and 375 articles of clothing. It was a good day!

Winter! Our homeless brothers and sisters are not prepared for the cold weather. They need blankets, sleeping bags, tents, coats, jackets, sweaters, hoodies, and shoes.

·       All sizes of clean men’s and ladies’ pants, shirts, tops, sweaters, coats, bras, socks and caps. Also, new men’s and ladies’ underwear and socks. Boxer briefs for men in medium and large, and men and women’s shoes suitable for outdoors are especially needed.

·       Assembling and filling bags and Ladies’ backpacks. This is generally done one Saturday each month and is a fun time of fellowship. Check the website for upcoming events.

·       Sorting clothes. People are responding to our need for clean or new clothing items. Volunteers are needed to help sort, size, and organize these items.  We meet in our fellowship hall every Monday morning from 9:00 to 10:30, and always appreciate help.

·       Financial contributions. As you can see it takes a lot of time, energy, money, and prayer to keep this ministry going.  Your financial contributions will allow us to continue this ministry and share God’s love with others.
