What’s in the Bags?
This ministry began in the spring of 2018 when a single bottle of water was given to a homeless man.
That first bottle grew into a one gallon Ziploc bag consisting of two bottles of water, a Bible, and a $5.00 McDonald’s gift card.
Bob Cawthon, Don McBurnett, along with three of our church youth, Paul McBurnett, Viviana McBurnett, and Audrey Sanchez drove to the Riverfront Boulevard area, near downtown Dallas, and passed out twenty of those first bags.
Let’s get the youth involved.
Living on the streets is a horrible way to exist.
Our Outreach team has come in contact with more than five thousand needy souls in the past six years. We have seen first hand the hunger, thirst, and desperation of many trying to survive with no place to go.
Their main concerns are: what will I eat, where will I sleep tonight, and will I be safe?
Thank God for blankets and clothing donations.
Unsanitary conditions abound with few places to bathe and relieve oneself. Many people wear the same clothes for weeks.
Underwear and socks are hot commodities as ninety five percent of the folks either don’t have, or are in dire need of new ones.
Helping the homeless.
Our mission is to reach out with compassion and share the love of God by providing life changing essentials.
